EXPLORING SCATTERED PICTURES with Imam Zaid Shakir

A day with Imam Zaid Shakir, this program will walk through his book Scattered Pictures, and provide an intimate look at the stages of his life before embracing Islam and his journey since. Students will have an opportunity to discuss current socio-political events in light of Imam Zaid’s extensive knowledge of political science and unique perspective on the relevance of the civil rights movements on our days and time. A reception and book signing will follow.
