Opponents of the Muslim center object to its construction near the site of the 9/11 attacks. One group, American Freedom Defense Initiative, has called for a protest at City Hall on Wednesday, when the City Council is scheduled to begin hearings on whether to allow a Walmart store to be built in New York.
