According to a hadith narrated by
Bukhari, the Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) once
asked the Companion, Ibn Mas'ud, to recite the Qur'an. Ibn Mas'ud asked:
"Should I be the one to recite to you, although it has been revealed to
you?" The Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him)
answered: "Yes, it pleases me a great deal to hear someone else
reciting." Ibn Mas'ud related: "Then I recited Surat'n-Nisa', and and
when I came to verse 41, he said: 'Enough for now.' And when I looked at
him, tears were streaming from his eyes.
